Q: What is the definition of a non-elderly person?
A: A person at least 18 years of age and not yet 62 years of age.

Q: Are current HCV applicants on the waiting list eligible for the Mainstream Vouchers?
A: Yes, qualified HCV waiting list applicants may be eligible to receive Mainstream vouchers.

Q: If I am not currently on the HCV waiting list, will I have an opportunity to apply for the Mainstream Vouchers?
A: Yes, anyone can apply to the Beyond Housing HCV waiting list when is it is open.

Q: What verifications are required?
A:

  • Proof of age
  • Proof of disability
  • Proof of homeless status

Q: Who qualifies for preferences?
A: A waiting list preference is provided to qualified families who are:

  • Currently experiencing homelessness
  • At risk of becoming homeless
