Notice: Window Air Conditioners

During the summer months, many of our Residents need and use window air conditioners to cool their units. While these air conditioners aide in cooling the unit, there are safety measures that Residents need to be reminded in the installation and care of a window air conditioner.

Beyond Housing will install window air conditioner units for tenants as needed and will charge the tenant a fee. All window air conditioner units are subject to inspection by Beyond Housing staff for Health and Safety reasons. 

According to the Lease; Section IV; Obligation of Resident; Resident Agrees:

(F.) To comply with all obligations imposed upon by Residents by applicable provisions of building and housing codes that materially affect Health and Safety.

(Q.) Not to install any clothes dryer, additional telephones, fences, additional locks, fixtures, radio or television antenna, or make any alterations to the premises (including wallpaper, contact paper, etc.) without prior written consent of the Landlord, and then only under the conditions given by the Landlord for such consent.
